Hi there! I’m Lauren.
Griffith Design Co. was born in the spring of 2021, rooted in a passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces that feel like home. What began as a corporate career in retail architectural design gradually evolved into something more personal — moonlighting as an interior decorator for friends and family. Through word of mouth, that creative outlet blossomed into a growing clientele and a clear calling.
After becoming a mom in 2022, I eventually made the leap to pursue residential interior design full time. It’s been one of the most rewarding decisions — allowing me the freedom to be both the designer and the mother I strive to be every day.
In 2024, I partnered with a Cleveland-based architect who specializes in historic homes (a dream!) and together we bring fresh life to projects of all sizes — from thoughtful renovations to full-scale transformations.
My background includes a wide range of corporate design experience, from intimate retail and restaurant projects to large-scale warehouse planning. While residential interiors are now my primary focus, I still have a soft spot for retail environments and enjoy returning to those roots when the right project comes along.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Kent State University and a Master’s degree from Kent State’s Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative, where I developed a deep appreciation for thoughtful, people-centered design. That foundation continues to shape the way I approach every project today — blending form, function, and a little bit of heart.
